What are you doing visuals for?
Mostly for our own disco nights aka Büro Discotec based on a special theme. It’s like a BD circus touring from place to place: So far we’ve organized Büro Discotecs in many different cities in different countries. For how long have you been doing visuals?
Since the late ’80s. Back then, we started doing it with Amiga computers. We had visuals at almost any party we organized. In 2000 we launched Büro Discotec which gave us the perfect opportunity to match our own visuals with our most favorite music. Every single BDiscotec has been a blast so far:-)
What's the philosophy of the visuals you are doing?
We always create new visuals for each event. During the club night we mix visuals live and combine them with all the visual work we did before. This is much fun because the visuals created are always different: It’s a kind of random visual entertainment. Every appearance is something new and special, because everything is live – like the acts and dj’s we play with.
Do you have a recorded video of your visuals?
No, since we create new works for each of the partys we are part of each event is new and unique and we never record it. So the only way to see our visuals is to book us. After serving us some red wine, we will then deliver visuals for hours!
